"Dum Spiro Spero" - Leak.

I may have found a great thing to do ;;) Review albums/concerts :D


Right now I wanna review Dum Spiro Spero, but I think I'll postpone it for tomorrow morning so I can give it a listen more attentively.


Meanwhile, here's Ruten no Tou. My new fav song :D

Dupa cum deja ma asteptam de altfel, reactia trupei la raspandirea albumului cu o saptamana inaintea lansarii nu a intarziat sa apara.

All I can do is just accept that these are the times we live in and sad things such as this happen as a matter of fact.

However I am comforted that there are so many of you out there who share my feelings.

I am deeply grateful to all of you who are patiently waiting for the album.

My thoughts on it:
I understand his feelings, but as he himself said ... things like these happen, so... we can look to the bright side, fans are so eager that they can't wait another week, plus more and more fans emerge. And another thing, I've never seen a stronger fan base than Dir en grey's... seriously. So, everythings cool. I'm pretty sure this album will be a best seller, so to speak, and that all of their concerts will be sold out in minutes.




Pana si eu am ascultat albumul (nu in intregime, doar asa pe sarite). Ce-i drept, il inteleg pe el ca e dezamagit, pentru ca a ales o data pt album si voia ca data aia sa fie respectata de toti. But ... shit happens. N-am banii si mijloacele-s cam limitate sa comand albumul de aici. Dar cand am ocazia sa ma duc la un concert de-al lor , nici nu stau pe ganduri.




Weeeelll, sa-i dam drumul la review:


Primul album pe care l-am ascultat de la Dir a fost "Withering to Death". M-a facut fan imediat. Apoi m-am delectat cu ce era deja, Vulgar, Kisou etc. Mi-au placut.

Ce a urmat apoi a fost "The Marrow of a bone" care nu m-a dat deloc pe spate... Era imediat dupa ce incepusera ei sa aiba concerte in strainatate impreuna cu trupe mai hardcore asa si s-au gandit (probabil) sa adopte un sound my american metal-ish.
Parca era ceva fortat, negandit.


Apoi a aparut Uroboros. Care dicta o schimbare majora. Ei deja se obisnuisera cu noul "teren", "lume" muzicala in care intrasera si deja acum incepeau sa amestece bine noile influente cu ideile lor originale. Cu toate astea, nici Uroboros nu m-a dat pe spate... 


DAR, Dum Spiro Spero... e altceva! E chiar o opera de arta. Serios. Elemente surpriza, disonante, fraze muzicale gandite in profunzime, e ca un roller-coaster muzical! Experimental clar. Sunete nemaiauzite, potrivite intre ele perfect, la momentul perfect.
Dir en grey au evoluat, au trecut la un next level (Uroboros a fost ca o punte intre vechi si nou, ce erau si ce voiau sa devina). Au reusit din plin. Asteptarea de 3 ani a meritat. Un album bine gandit si bine alcatuit.
